astor Al is an ordained licensed minister in the Church of God, Cleveland, TN.  He is the founder and Sr. Pastor, with his wife Jeraldine, of the Abundant Life Inc Church of God (ALCOG) in Germantown, MD.  They have 4 gifted children who are all musicians and/or singers and preachers.  Jr, the eldest, is an ordained minister who serves as Elder along with his wife JaQualia, at the Harvest International Church located in Ohio.  His second son, Jesse and his wife LaKeesha serve as Deacons and Musicians at New Birth Christian Ministries in Ohio.  Daniel, better known as “The Drummer,” not only serves as a musician but is also a teacher and exhorter at ALCOG.  The baby girl, Natasha, is a worship leader at ALCOG.

Pastor Al is a family man that loves the Lord and people.  God called him to preach at the tender age of 16 yrs old in Phila, PA under the leadership of his father, the Rev Roland G Leonard, Sr.

He is a graduate of Benjamin Franklin High School in Phila. PA where he graduated with Honors and a three (3) year scholarship to attend the world renowned Williamson Trade School in Media, PA.  After graduating the Lord directed him to relocate to the Maryland area.

Pastor Al has served at the Gaithersburg Church of God and the Rockville Church of God in many different capacities and duties such as Youth Ministry, Worship Leader, etc.

As a visionary, God directed him to the Germantown area to expand the Church of God in the Upper Montgomery County area.  Pastor Al has received many awards and honors for his service to the Middlebrook Community of Germantown, MD.  The Church of God Delmarva-DC has award him as a Decadal Pastor with over 20 years of pastoral service in Germantown, MD.  To God be the Glory!

eraldine Leonard is Co-founder and Co-Pastor of the Abundant Life Inc Church of God in Germantown, MD. She was born and raised in Philadelphia, PA where her 2 sisters: Jean Stroud whom God gifted in financials and Linda Poole who is the Assistant Pastor at the High Street Church of God in Philadelphia, still reside. She began preaching and teaching at the age of 19 under the anointed leadership of Pastor Roland G. Leonard, Sr. She later moved to Maryland after marrying Pastor Al in June of 1980.

Sis Jeraldine graduated from the Minister’s Internship Program of the Church of God along with her husband, Pastor Al. Also she has taken classes through the Covenant Theological Seminary. Her current studies range from building web pages to searching financial grants. She also makes herself available to the women of the church to teach them computer skills to help them better themselves in the job market.

In 2009 God stretched her faith by calling her to a deliverance and healing ministry.  She has begun teaching classes on healing, deliverance and the gift of prophecy.  Because of this stretching she has seen God do many things in just the past year!

Sis Jeraldine’s family is very important to her. All of her 4 children are serving in some capacity in ministry or worship. And since their marriage she has worked side by side with her husband in ministry.
